Family Run Business
Benchmark keeps it in the family!
Benchmark Property Management, Inc is celebrating 25 years together. They have been together since 1987 and are primarily family run. They started out services only three or four communities and now service more than 100 communities in the Southern Florida area. The company is run by the patriarch and matriarch of the Sugarman family—Bill and Barbara who serve as executives.

Bill and Barbara’s family members—Dan, Sharon, and Lisa — also work with the company. Dan works as the Director of Field Operations, Sharon primarily works with the administrative services, and Lisa works as an executive.

His knowledge of operational issues is extensive. Benchmark's managers have been helpful to the Board in our management of the Association property, and contacting issues. They also maintain close communications each week with Board members, especially with the President of the Board.”
Benchmark’s services include: finance, administration, operations, consults, and web services. They are located in Coral Springs, Florida, servicing over 100 communities and almost 15,000 units in the Southern Florida area.

Because they were so efficient, our organization is now stream lined and excited to move forward. It is such a relief to know that we are being taken care of by an organization with the expertise and knowledge in the areas where we need some help. Management has never been this easy. Without Benchmark, we would probably still be wasting our time with inadequate procedures. The difference really does show.
