Benchmark Property Management, Inc: a Family Affair

Benchmark Property Management has been around since 1987. They will be celebrating their 25th anniversary throughout 2012. Benchmark is renowned throughout the southern Florida area as a property management company. They provide ancillary services to their client associations who manage community associations. Benchmark is a family run business, which aids them in maintaining relationships with all four of their initial clients. Today, Benchmark has over 100 clients, almost 15,000 unites, and 35 employees.

The company is ran by husband and wife team, Bill and Barbara Sugarman. “Our Community is proud to be associated with Benchmark Property Management,” said Jack S. Their children, Dan Sugarman, Sharon Sugarman Kasen, and Lisa Sugarman Smith, work as executives in the company. “Our point person in day to day operations has been Dan Sugarman,” said Jay F. LaSalle, President of Isles of Boca Dunes II. “He has been a strong and tireless ally and has worked side by side with us to solve some very difficult problems over many years. Dan is an extremely knowledgeable, true professional, willing and able to do whatever it takes to make things work, even on a 24/7 basis, if necessary.
